and it's Sunday night. Not a good sign for the SUPER busy week we have ahead of us but after I gain 5lbs, shop 'til I drop and cheer on Tech at Cowboy's Stadium I can prop my feet up and pass out on the couch.

Until then.....I will be cooking, cleaning, eating, drinking, shopping, laughing, talking, and just loving on family!

Baby Nate is HERE!!!

As you all probably know by now, my sister delivered Baby Nate safely (and quickly) into the world at 4:25am.

I took a thousand pictures of him this morning at the hospital only to come home to have my computer bail out on me. I am on a hunt to find a missing cord and if all else fails I will be banging on some of my 'hood girls houses to let me borrow their computer!

I can tell you this: he is A-DOOR-A-BULL! seriously, he is actually a cute newborn!

I can't wait to share him with you all.

what's going on?

• My sister, Meg, is having her baby on Monday!!! I can't wait to be an Aunt of little-bitty, squishy-tooshie baby again!
• Because my sister is having her baby my mom is coming into town!! We love visits from family and look forward to having her here for awhile!
• Still can't find my keys.....I think he flushed them.
• Bryson has done GREAT with the whole tubes thing.
• We had our carpets cleaned yesterday and Chi-Chi peed on the floor this morning. SPCA here she comes! (although, I will totally take the blame for her accident today, I didn't let her out as soon as I woke up)
• Date night tonight! WooHoo!
• Dustin is leaving town on Sunday and won't be back until Thursday. Thank goodness my mom is in town!
• I was the only person in boot camp today at the gym. It was like a personal training session for an hour, only completely amped up 10 notches. Pretty sure I won't be able to lift my hand to my mouth tomorrow!!
• I have a 30% off coupon for Gap, Old Navy and Banana for this weekend. you know where to find me.

you can't find your car keys?

mine have been missing since Sunday.

we have torn the house apart looking for them: under couches and beds, in drawers, in the trash, in other purses, in backpacks, in the pantry, bathroom, bedroom and utility room. you name it, we have looked.

Ramsey swears she didn't hide them so we believe it was the little man. Too bad he can't tell us where they are!

any suggestions on where to look?

So little man Bryson is sleeping on the couch after his little surgery. I am just going to leave him there for fear that if/when he wakes up he will be grouchy. (I have some cute photos of him sleeping but for some reason our computer is jacked up right now, I will try to post later today)

They all warned us he would be mad when he woke up from the anesthesia.....boy were they right. He was beyond pissed off and pretty much screamed and cried until we got home.

Our Dr. said he had lots of thick fluid in both ears and that the left ear had a lot of pus in it so we were so thankful we did the surgery. He (the Dr.) said that Bryson can already hear better and should really pick up his speech now.

BTW: I just noticed all the blood in his ear and it is going to take an act of God for me not to clean that up while he is sleeping.......I know I shouldn't because he could wake up, but that is going to bug the crap out of me until I get it out. I guess I will start folding laundry and cleaning so I will be distracted.

honestly, I am much more nervous about the whole "not eating or drinking" thing than I am about the surgery.

if there is one thing Mr. Bryson LOVES in this world it is his sippy cup of milk and pop-tart in the morning.

this could make for a very interesting morning.

not a happy camper

I just opened Ramsey's backpack from the week and found her order form, with check enclosed, for her school pictures. Her picture day was Wednesday.

Does this mean they didn't take her individual picture? Will I not have one for this school year at all?

Yes, I probably should have realized this Wed afternoon or Thursday but I didn't. Yes, I have already emailed the director of her school.

All I did was go to the bathroom and this is what I came out to.

He was SO proud of himself and didn't understand why I wasn't clapping with him!

Now I know why they put dispenser locks on fridges.

(BTW, I HATE that place...... correction I hate taking Bryson there. He would not sit or stand for longer than .5 seconds last night at our soccer pizza party. At one point he was seriously hanging from the skee ball netting.....didn't even know that was possible did ya?!?!)

We did a "ca-raft" this weekend and I think it turned out pretty darn cute!

Why can't 2 kids smile and look at the same camera at the same time?

I suck at the whole picture thing lately and totally did NOT get a picture of the runts together on Halloween......I foresee a pretend Halloween dress-up day in the kids near future.

OH HAPPY DAY!!!!!!

We just so happened to stop by Rhonda's house tonight when we were out on a walk/bike ride with the kids. She came outside bearing gifts.......The Pioneer Woman Cookbook that we ordered ages ago. I have spent the last 25 minutes looking through it and let's just say that I am SO hungry right now. Plus, I am convinced that my hips will get wider, butt bigger and tummy flabbier in the near future.
