Thank you DUSTIN. for leaving the toilet seat up last night, I needed a good butt washing at 2am this morning. in the dark.

Thank you RAMSEY. for begging for a cheeseburger from McDonald's and then not eating it. I love wasting money on nasty food.

Thank you BRYSON. for refusing to sit in the cart at CVS today. it was awesome carrying you around the store while you were screaming.

Thank you to the above mentioned family members. for driving me crazy at times, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Square Pebble

We had an awesome weekend visiting Lolli and Pops in Round Rock, or as Dustin calls it Square Pebble. As some of you know, Marilyn had a series of mini-strokes on Wed so we came down for the weekend to help out. I am so happy that she is doing so well. We are so proud of her!! She gave us all a scare and we are all so thankful that she is ok.

God is good indeed!!

I had to share some pictures of the food we made last night because it was so darn good! Onion strings courtesy of the Pioneer Woman and Marilyn! The shrimp Dustin grilled was A-MAZ-ING. Salt Grass, eat your heart out!

Anyway, thanks again to all of you for your thoughts and prayers for Marilyn this past week.

I am not going to say I am stupid because I know I have some smartness in me.....it makes a rare appearance every once in awhile.

Anyway, I am not smart.

I forgot my camera this past weekend. Actually, that is not true I took the camera just not the freaking battery.

Hello?!?!?! Anybody home? -------- Apparently not.

But, I am not going to take full responsibility either. Dustin wouldn't have even remembered the camera so I was at least one step ahead of him.

So, all pictures are in the Dunkles possession. I plan on getting her drunk, stealing the card from her camera, erasing any bad pictures of myself and then posting the rest!

Road-trippin' time again!

This weekend we are headed down to Horseshoe Bay with our good friends the Dunkles. We are all really ready to get away for a few days and what better to relax than with friends by a pool, lake or golf course?

here's what I have packed so far:

sunglasses

rum

DONE!

And can I make you even more jealous???? We are doing "PNO" at the gym tonight.....so, not only are we going on a little vacay tomorrow but tonight we are hittin' the town with some awesome couples without the kids! WOOHOO!

Going to Sea World every summer....usually with my cousins Carin and Melisa and my Grammie A.

Megan (my middle sister) used to chase me around the house with a HUGE knife in her hand. Looking back, I know I was scared but also knew she would never do anything to hurt me. I used to run outside bc I knew she wouldn't go out there with a knife! I didn't tell our parents about it until a few years ago and I still think they are shocked!

So, I was going through some old photos on the computer today and was comparing last year to this year. Can you believe how much they have changed in the last year?? I can't even really remember Bryson being that small and not having any of his fabulous hair! And Ramsey, she just looks so mature to me now in comparison.

I only did this today bc last night at a friends house they busted out a Christmas video from a few years ago and I couldn't believe how much I had changed. (Thank goodness!) It got me thinking about personal changes, both physical and mental. I was going to post some pictures of me last year and this year but I honestly couldn't really find any from last year.....Isn't that sad? I know I didn't want pictures taken bc I wasn't feeling so good about myself but dang I really should have taken some shots with my kids.

Lesson learned: take pictures with the kids, not always behind the lens....after all, they are the ones that love you no matter what you look like!
(oh, to have such an innocent mind again)

Wanna hear something funny?????

Did I say funny, because I meant DISGUSTING!

So, I went to the Dr. today and was basically told that the pain I have been having in my hernia is most likely due to....get this nastiness..... a piece of floating fat that went into it, died and then got infected.

Now that you have all thrown up your lunch, I am headed to the gym and then coming home to a nice plate of carrots and broccoli for my new diet. It's called the "Floating Fat Diet".

So, no surgery is scheduled......I am just gonna get it fixed when I get that tummy tuck you are all going to pay for!!!!

He has been giving me some trouble lately so we are headed to a surgeon's office tomorrow to see if I now NEED to have surgery. I don't want to and have always said I wouldn't do it unless it bothered me. Well, it is bothering me.......like someone punched me in the gut, bothersome. Awesome.

Yes, he climbed up on the table all by himself.

Yes, he does own clothes but he is a massive sweater when he sleeps so he now naps "nude" in the summer.

Yes, that is a cup full o' high-fructose corn syrup. Don't judge.

Yes, he was super proud of himself!

Yes, the bench that he used is now safely tucked under the table.....one more thing I will have to remember to do after every meal.

Oh, and NO I didn't watch him or help him do this. I was enjoying looking up recipes online for a few minutes (thinking he was playing with his sister and cousin) when he decided to go Spiderman on me. This is what I walked in on.
