1 year stats for the big boy.......

22lbs 10oz ---- 50-75% (closer to the 75th%)
30.5 inches long ---- 75-90%
18.8 head circumference ---- 90-95%

So, he is pretty much right on track from his last check-up at 9mo.

We didn't get any shots today due to the fact that he has been running a fever all day. NO ear infection though, hallelujah!!! He does have tonsilitis but can I get another hallelujah that it wasn't strep throat!!!

He has basically been a grump all day but finally ate some food at dinner......you know he doesn't feel good if he doesn't two-fist his food!!!

Just for fun I pulled out Ramsey's 1 year stats, this is how he measures up to her:
18lbs 2oz ---- 10-25%
28.3 inches long ---- 25%
18.3 head circumference ---- 75%

Lesson learned: My kids have big heads!

How is it that

I only have a few pictures of Bryson eating cake at his birthday party and absolutely nothing else. No shots of our friends or family, no shots of Uncle Wes playing soccer with all the kids, no shots of Bryson in his super cute shirt courtesy of Christine. Sure, my mom took a lot of pictures but I dang sure didn't have the brains to download hers while she was here. You know we didn't even take the pictures that we do have, thank god for friends!

And also, how is it that Dustin and I wanted to compare Ramsey at a year to Bryson and the only pictures we can find from her party consist of her sitting in her wagon surrounded by her presents??? No cake for her I guess.

What the heck? We own 2 good cameras but apparently neither one of us take the time to use the dang things when you would think we would! I have a ton of pictures of our kids doing nothing but none of them doing something....like the first birthday milestone.

by the way, the boy is sick......AGAIN. Good thing he has his 1 year well visit today! hopefully they can give him some even stronger antibiotic this time. I will let you know his "stats" when we get back.

I wonder.....

I wonder why I ever try to plan things, it never works out?!?!

I wonder if I will ever get rid of this belly fat....actually I know the answer to that, NO...unless someone out there wants to pay for a tummy tuck for sweet little ol' me!

I wonder why some women go to the gym at 8:30 in the morning fully decked out in make-up???

I wonder if our dogs hate our kids....I bet they miss the good life.

I wonder if grumpiness is contagious. If so, my kids gave it to me today.

I wonder if Bryson's party this weekend will be a mad house?

I wonder if anyone will notice the huge stain on the carpet from ChiChi's latest "episode". (I guess they will now!)

I wonder what's for dinner. Guess I better go figure that out!

"I'm not ready for this....."

This is Ramsey's note from school last week. As you can tell Ramsey has taken a liking to the new boy in class, Nathan. When I showed Dustin the note his immediate response was "I am not ready for this." When I picked her up from school today her teachers told me that they held hands on the way to chapel today and ate lunch together.

Too stinkin' cute!!!!!!!

Future Cop???

He LOVES Donuts. And I really do mean LOVES them.

The past few Sundays we have hit up Dunkin Donuts before church so that Rams can get her beloved "sprinkles" donut and Bry his donut holes. If we had enough time I am sure he would down 4 or 5 of them but we usually have to leave after he eats 3.

Oh, and don't mind the HUGE bump and scrape on his head....that is another post in itself. As a teaser I will tell you he was trying to get the hang of walking and it didn't go so well.
