Blood

This morning, while I was running around like a mad woman, I found a BIG (like 6in X 6in) pool of blood on the floor in Ramsey's room.

Ummm, so who is bleeding? Where from? Why? and for how long?

Ramsey swears it was from Maddi.....which is just about the only logical explanation, she does have a giant tumor after all. So, did she cough it up, puke it up, poop or pee it out?

I HAVE NO IDEA!!!!

It's a very unsettling feeling cleaning up blood and not knowing where it came from. I know it wasn't from the kids because they would have been screaming about it.

Oh, and YES we had a showing a mere 2 hours after I found it so you know I was freaking out. THANK GOD for good neighbors and friends!! Tiffany came to the rescue with a huge bottle of hydrogen peroxide for me and it came right out!

(I have to tell you.....when I couldn't figure out where it came from I actually looked at the ceiling half expecting blood to be coming down from there. SO FREAKY!)

Bryson's future

One thing we know for sure about Bryson.....he is one tough cookie. That kid can take a lickin' and keep on tickin' with the best of them. So, after the ER visit tonight (he fell off the back of the couch directly on his head, but he is fine!) I started thinking about his future.

Here are list of things that if he choose for his profession I would not be shocked.

What am I up to???

Hey guys, this is Bryson and I am taking over mom's blog for the day. It's about time I let you all know what I have been up to.

How cool is this????? I can climb out of my pack n' play at Lolli's house AND my crib at home! Mom doesn't act too excited about it but I think it's pretty cool. I like to think of myself as SpiderMan now!

I am getting some big ol' teeth in the back of my mouth and frankly I am OVER it. They hurt. I think they make me drool a lot too.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to ask "why?" and do it all the time.

I want to be outside all the time. I stand at the door and yell "ouuuusigh" a lot.

I really love to play with my blocks.

I get in trouble for hitting Ramsey and sometimes my mom and dad.

I am obsessed with the potty but I HATE to be put on it. Mommy thinks she is going to try to potty train me soon but first I have to get over my fear of falling in.

I am FINALLY out of my bath seat. Yes, I was the last kid on the block still in my seat but it made me feel safe in the tub. Now I am like a fish in there and I LOVE to splash and drink the water. Mommy says drinking it is gross but I don't care.

I call milk "Cow" and would love to have an unlimited supply of it.

I have a HUGE pain tolerance. I rarely cry for more than 10 seconds when I hurt myself.

I think my sister is obsessed with me. She is in my face all the time.....which is why I hit her. I just want to say ,"give me my space sis."

I still like to cuddle.

I am shy at first but I warm up pretty quickly to others.

I love my naps.....just likes Gramps.....and usually sleep at least 2 hours at nap time. Mommy says my nap time is her favorite part of the day! Something about how she can actually get some stuff done around the house....whatever that means!

I am a dang good dancer and I love to do somersaults and jump.

Oh, I got my haircut this weekend. I cried the entire time. But, I must say I look pretty stinkin' good with my new style!

I like to play with older kids. Little kids freak me out. I just look at them and say "NO" over and over and over again.

I don't share well. (if I want it, you should give it to me!)

My birthday is coming up. Can you believe I will be two?? Pretty cool if you ask me! I am gonna have a party with my homie Conner at club Mickey D's!

That's all I can think of for now. Plus, it's my nap time.

poison control (again)

I can't believe I forgot to tell y'all this story.

Long story short: Bryson got into my birth control pills. he (or the dogs) ate the last 4 pills in the pack. LUCKILY these are the sugar pills and there are no side effects.

Lesson learned: they are in the cupboard not in the bathroom drawer.

By the way: Poison control people are SO nice. In fact her exact words when I told her it was the last pills in the pack she said "Oh, that's GREAT!" She was so excited he choose the white pills and not the pink......if it was Ramsey I am pretty sure it would have been the pink ones!

so, we HAD an interested couple in our house. notice the word HAD. they put an offer on another house......a house that I found online, a house that is not nearly as cute as mine, a house that looks like a house and not a home.

"to each his own" I guess. the other house was a little bigger and cheaper....because it was ugly and plain...but whatever.

I just want someone to walk in and LOVE our house like we do. I know they are out there, I just hope they come soon.

In other news, Bryson just walked in the office and seriously stinks so I am off to change a diaper, put the trash out and sulk for the rest of the day! And YES, apparently I am VERY impatient!!!!!!!!!

So, here is the party wrap-up from the Bettencourt's perspective:

• The 80's clothing was hideous. however, we all wore it well!
• HOW in the HELL did I not get a picture of all the couples?? That is what the backdrop was for! Those I didn't get I stole off facebook! except for the Bundy's...did anyone get one of them?
• But, having a backdrop at a party is awesome!
• kids will totally leave you alone if you give them some sprite and a cupcake!
• Salmon colored overalls are not good for the body. I was pretty much the UN-sexiest person at the party......but I was authentic!
• Walmart is the key to any good 80's outfit.
• Keds (or F-eds..since mine were fake) really aren't that comfortable.
• Waking up this morning with no mess to clean was such a relief!
• Theme parties are SO MUCH FUN, officially addicted!
